Getting started with RCS

1. Get an agent

First, sign up for an account. To get started with testing, obtain a free sandbox agent by contacting us (founders@trypinnacle.app). We will give you an agent for testing which will show up in your RCS Agents tab:

RCS Agent Example

This gives you an RCS agent that you can test whitelisted devices on. Whitelist a number by selecting Whitelist and following the instructions it gives.

When you’re ready for production, you can purchase an RCS agent with your company’s branding. While awaiting approval from carriers, you will be given a test agent with your company’s branding that can test whitelisted numbers. Once accepted by carriers, you’ll be able to send to any number, provided they have consented to receiving messages.

Now you’re almost ready to start ready messaging from the Pinnacle test agent—you’ll just need to get your credentials.

2. Get credentials

Navigate to Development > API Keys and click Create API Key. Give your key a descriptive name, then click Create. Once generated, copy your new API key and store it securely.

3. Select a language
