Voice calls

Start, monitor, stream, and record voice calls through Pinnacle.

What’s new?

  • New /calls endpoints for outbound call creation, listing, lookup, metadata updates, cancellation, event history, WebSocket stream tokens, recording download, and recording deletion.
  • New CALL.STATUS webhook event for phone-number subscribers. Use it to receive call lifecycle updates: RINGING, ANSWERED, BRIDGED, ENDED, NO_ANSWER, and BUSY.
  • New Voice Calls guide covering REST setup, stream tokens, WebSocket command frames, live audio frames, recordings, and call status webhooks.
  • New Voice WebSockets method page with TypeScript, Python, and Ruby SDK helper examples for connecting, sending commands, and reconnecting.
