Handling Expired URLs

When you register an RCS campaign, you receive a branded test agent while awaiting carrier approval. This agent carries your company’s branding (logo, colors, hero image) and lets you develop and test full RCS functionality with whitelisted devices before going live.

How branded test agents work

Branded test agents have the same RCS capabilities as production agents — the only difference is that they can only message whitelisted phone numbers.

Whitelisting flow

  1. Whitelist a phone number for your test agent.
  2. The recipient receives an invite from “RBM Tester Management” and taps “Make me a tester”.
  3. Once accepted, messages can be exchanged between your agent and that number.

Transitioning to production

Once your RCS campaign is approved by carriers, your branded test agent is promoted to a live production agent. All webhook configurations transfer automatically — no migration or additional setup is required.
